Movie Review
In the movie, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, the Pevensie children travel back to Narnia where they must try and defeat King Miraz, in order for Prince Caspian to become the rightful ruler again.
What a disappointment! Any of the magic and wonder that I felt in the first movie surely was not present in Prince Caspian at all. There were some beautiful scenic shots of Narnia, but the story felt all over the place.
The movie itself was completely lacking any excitement except for a few moments with the swirling water creature. I wish that Aslan (the Great lion) had more of a role in this film since maybe that would have added a bit more interest. Any of the battle scenes were so long-winded that it felt like the movie was never going to end.
In the hope of being whisked away into a world of fantasy, in this case, I would have gladly chosen reality instead.
