I wanted to start sharing some of the best survey sites that I am a member of. Note: I have been given permission by each company to share details about their site.
They are all FREE to join and participate in.
A few things to note when participating in online surveys/focus groups:
- Be honest in your responses. Market research relies on honest data/feedback so it's very important to provide accurate information on your profile and also when taking every survey.
- Only give out information that you feel comfortable with sharing. This is a biggie! Many surveys will include an option where you can click on “prefer not to say.” They will never ask you things like a credit card number, social insurance number, bank account, etc… If they do, immediately exit that site and delete your account.
Get rich quick schemes? You won't find that on this blog, sorry!
