Bright Lights Windsor 2022

Bright Lights Windsor 2022 has returned and it's bigger and brighter than ever before!

It was a fun evening strolling around Jackson Park, admiring the lights, reflecting upon many of the displays and stopping in to check out some of the terrific vendors/artists, as we should be making an effort whenever possible to shop and support our local businesses. After all, a city can't thrive without support from their community.

Here are some photos taken, which I hope you'll enjoy.

Wishing everyone a happy and safe holiday season!

💜More info: Bright Lights Windsor

*Bright Lights runs nightly from 5:30 - 10 pm from December 2, 2022, to January 8, 2023.

*Sensory friendly “Silent Nights” are offered on Tuesday evenings. The lights will be on, but sound will be muted and strobe elements paused.

Nuvo Entertainment At Stouffville Strawberry Festival 2015

Bill performed once again at the wonderful Stouffville Strawberry Festival! I came along for the trip and actually suggested that we stay over in Guelph the night before, so we wouldn't have to get up at 6 am and drive for several hours. Good move because we were well-rested for a rather unpredictable day of stormy weather and unusually cold temperatures for this time of year!

Unfortunately, I didn't get a lot of pictures of all the festivities this time around because it was SO cold that I just wanted to huddle under a blanket to keep warm.

Anyhow, enjoy these photos and for all your entertainment needs, make sure to check out: www.nuvoentertainment.com

A fresh look at The City Market in Windsor Ontario

Yesterday, we took our first trip to The City Market on Walker Rd, here in Windsor, Ontario.

Overall it was a pleasant experience and the vendors were extremely friendly! It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few months and whether this market will be sustainable, especially with a lot of heavy competition heading its way.

We didn't find a ton of edible produce this time around, but managed to still get some good deals. It's a nice switch from frozen veggies, especially when the warmer months are upon us!

We are looking forward to another trip back soon and i'll definitely take more photos. :)

Family Funday Sunday!

We had a great time putting on our 2014 Family Funday Sunday! Myself, along with Nuvo Entertainment would like to take a moment to thank everyone who was involved in making this a successful day for all the families here in Windsor-Essex County. Big thanks to our special musical guest, Timothy Hole, who rocked the place by singing Journey's classic song:  Don't Stop Believing and many other hits.

We were also happy to see the extreme generousity of our fellow Windsorites, who brought in canned goods or made a cash donation to our charity of choice for this event; The Windsor Youth Centre.
