In the movie, 17 Again, with all of Mike O’Donnell’s (Matthew Perry) regrets, he travels back to the days of high school, as a 17 year old boy (played by Zac Efron) and is given the chance to relive and possibly redo, the one pivotal moment in his life that changed everything.
I really enjoyed watching this movie. It reminded me in a lot of ways of the other time-reversal movies such as the classic Big and 13 Going on 30. Zac Efron was surprisingly well-fitted for the role and I really liked Thomas Lennon who played his best friend/geeky “man-child” father.
There was a good blend of comedic and heartfelt moments and it had unpredictable scenes which is always refreshing to see in any film.
Worth mentioning would be the music soundtrack, as it had Kool and the Gang, Young MC and more!
Everyone wishes that in some ways they could turn back the hands of time and do things differently in life…oh to be 17 again!
