New Local Music Single Release! Divine - themorning (official video)

Local Windsor Ontario artist, Jarrod  (aka themorning) has been creating an eclectic array of music for many years now in the genres of pop, dance, edm, trap and alt rock.

Just released is their latest single called Divine, which has a particular alt-rock sound with evocative lyrics. The video captures the emotional vulnerability through musical tone and lyrics, highlighting the art of movement.

Give it a listen below and share. :)

Happy belated 35th birthday to me!

Well, I turned the big 35 almost a week ago!  Thank you for all the birthday wishes, I really appreciate it!

My parents took us out for lunch to Casey's. Great time and the food was delicious!

During the evening time, my boyfriend, Bill Nuvo surprised me with such a wonderful gift that I will always cherish. Since he knows how much I adore Choir Choir Choir from Toronto, he orchestrated a Sing-A-Long and hired local musician, Bobby Sproat to perform "Friday I'm in Love" by my favourite band, The Cure, at the DH! Bobby played a variety of songs, from Mr. Brightside by the Killers to One Republic's, Apologize.

Music: Retro Girl by Bill Nuvo

Today I was a sent a beautiful quote that is really meaningful to me and worth mentioning.

Bill's song that he composed for me called "Retro Girl" (how appropriate since we bonded from day one with that particular style of music!) is now completed. Although he tells me that the lyrics are still in the works, I believe the song with the music on its own captures such deep emotion. The sound feels like it was always meant for me to hear. I absolutely adore it and have created a video on Youtube for everyone to enjoy.
